Lion Tug Cylindrical Fenders are used as pushing fender on the bow or stern of tugboats. The entire Fendering systems are assembled with connection plug & end plugs. Lion Tug Cylindrical Fenders can be easily mounted on the hull of the ship with the help of longitudinal chain and is known as suspended installation and is also additionally supplemented by webbing straps preferably nylon make or steeled chains which fit in special grooves provided therein. The ends of the fender can be tapered to get a body blend connection to the hull of the vessel. The dimensions of Fenders are shown in table.

High Abrasion Resistance
Made from premium rubber, cylindrical rubber fenders can withstand continuous exposure to harsh marine conditions, including saltwater, UV rays, and mechanical wear. Their superior abrasion resistance ensures a longer service life, even in demanding environments.
Good Resilience Properties
These fenders have excellent elasticity, allowing them to return to their original shape after impact. This resilience enhances their ability to absorb energy efficiently, reducing stress on both the fender and the vessel.
Easily Bends as per Hull Radius
Cylindrical boat fenders are designed to adapt to various hull shapes. Their flexibility allows them to bend according to the vessel's contours, providing seamless protection without compromising performance.
Easy to Install and Low Maintenance
With a simple yet effective design, these fenders are easy to install on docks, boats, and offshore structures. Their minimal maintenance requirements make them a cost-effective solution for long-term marine protection.
Tug Boats & Workboats
These fenders are commonly installed on tug boats and fishing workboats to protect the hull from damage while maneuvering near large ships and docks.
Pontoon Protection
Marinas and floating pontoons utilize cylindrical fenders to absorb the impact when boats come in for docking. This helps prevent structural damage and guarantees a smooth berthing process.
Floating Structures
Offshore platforms and floating structures need strong fendering systems to handle waves and impacts from boats.. Cylindrical rubber fenders provide a cushioning effect, reducing the risk of damage.
Fishing Boats & Cargo Vessels
Fishing boats and cargo ships use these fenders for protection during mooring and docking. Their flexibility allows them to conform to different hull shapes, ensuring effective coverage.
Size & Dimensions
The size of the cylindrical rubber fender should align with the vessel or structure it protects. Larger vessels require bigger fenders with higher energy absorption, while smaller boats can use compact fenders.
Material & Durability
High-quality rubber ensures longevity and resistance to harsh marine conditions. UV-resistant and abrasion-proof fenders perform better, especially in ports and offshore environments.
Load-Bearing Capacity
Each fender has a specific load-bearing limit, meaning it can absorb a certain amount of impact before deforming. Choosing the right load-bearing capacity prevents damage to vessels and docks.
Customization for Specific Needs
Marine environments vary, and so do fendering requirements. Custom cylindrical fenders can be designed in different sizes, lengths, and mounting styles to fit specialized applications like tug boats, floating docks, or offshore platforms.
When it comes to marine safety, Lion Rubber’s cylindrical fenders are a trusted choice for ports, offshore structures, and vessels. These fenders are designed for superior impact protection, ensuring durability and performance in even the most demanding marine conditions.
